Q: What is POE?

A: PoE IP cameras, namely Power over Ethernet cameras, refers to the ones that get power and transmit videos through a single Ethernet cable (Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6, etc) with no extra power adapter needed, eliminating tangled cords and simplifying cabling around the house.

 

Q: Do you have to have internet?

A: Only if you wish to view remotely from a mobile device. Otherwise, the camera system can fully function (and subsequently viewing on a monitor/tv) without the internet connection.

 

Q: Does using eseecloud app have a fee associated with it?

A: No fee to use the features, but there is an option to purchase a monthly or yearly cloud subscription.

 

Q: Will the white light stay on at night?

A: If you select full color night vision, it will stay on at night, you can select intelligence model, the white light will only light up when movement is detected at night.

 

Q: I want to use 2 monitors in two different positions, does it work?

A: Yes, NVR has VGA and HDMI output ports, you can use these two ports to connect 2 monitors at the same time. If both monitors have HDMI ports, you need to purchase an HDMI 1to 2 splitter.

 

Q: Do you have to select one camera to record footage or can multiple camera record?

A: The default setting of the Wireless security camera system is that all of the cameras can record. And you can also set the system to record only some channels that you need.
