This Privacy Policy explains what personal information CCTV4DUBAI (“we”, “us”) collects through cctv4dubai.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other laws that apply to us.
1. Information we collect
- Order and account details: name, company, email, phone number, billing and delivery address, order history and, for trade customers, the details on your quotation.
- Messages and forms: what you send us through contact forms, quote requests, the product assistant and WhatsApp, including your phone number and the products you ask about.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (for example PayPal and card processors). We do not see or store your full card number.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through cookies and server logs.
2. How we use it
- To process and deliver orders, issue invoices and quotations, and handle returns and warranty claims.
- To answer your questions and give technical and sales support.
- To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and fix errors.
- To improve the Site and understand which products interest visitors, where you have agreed to analytics cookies.
- To meet legal, tax and customs obligations.
3. Cookies
We use essential cookies that the Site needs to work (cart, checkout, security, language and accessibility choices). With your consent we also use analytics cookies. 4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with: payment providers; shipping, courier and freight companies; our hosting, security and email providers; accountants and professional advisers; and authorities when the law requires it. If you use the language menu, the page you are viewing is sent to Google to be translated automatically. If you choose to continue a conversation on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
5. International transfers
We supply customers worldwide, and our providers may process data outside the UAE. Where we transfer personal data, we take steps to make sure it stays protected as this policy describes.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order, invoice and warranty records for as long as the law requires and for the period needed to support the products you bought. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after a reasonable period. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access. No online service is completely secure, so please use a strong password for your account.
8. Your rights
Subject to the law, you may ask to access your personal data, correct it, ask us to delete it or restrict its use, object to or withdraw consent for processing that is based on consent, and receive a copy of your data. To use these rights, contact us as shown below. We may need to verify your identity first.
9. Children
The Site is for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Links to other sites
The Site may link to manufacturer and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and significant changes will be highlighted on the Site.
